Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – Hartrich Farms

These delightful pumpkin stacks are placed in front of the Magic Kingdom Railroad station and around Town Square at the park entrance. They sit atop wooden crates branded “Hartrich Farms” and adorned with hay, creating a perfect photo opportunity for visitors.

The Hartrich Farms label humorously nods to Disney’s heritage: “Jack-O-Lantern Seeds – Proudly Grown in Indiana & Missouri Since 1886.” This fits beautifully with Main Street’s nostalgic Midwest small-town inspiration (particularly Marceline, Missouri, Walt Disney’s childhood hometown)

These decorations are more than just seasonal flair—they evoke nostalgia, charm, and a touch of Disney storytelling. They transport guests to a simpler time and set the whimsical tone for Halloween festivities like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

One of the most thrilling moments at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party comes just before the Boo-to-You Parade, when the Headless Horseman gallops down the parade route. About 15–20 minutes before the floats roll out, the Horseman emerges in Frontierland and makes his way past Liberty Square and down Main Street.

The Hitchhiking Ghosts parade float at Magic Kingdom—seen in the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Boo-to-You Parade—features the iconic trio from the Haunted Mansion: Phineas (the traveler), Ezra (the tall skeleton-like ghost), and Gus (the short prisoner). They appear in a ghostly scene styled after the Mansion’s graveyard, complete with eerie blue lighting, fog effects, and tombstones, giving the illusion that they’ve stepped right out of the ride to haunt Main Street, U.S.A.
